About the Goddess:

Freya is the goddess of fertility, sex, warfare and death. She a member of the Vanir, a group of deities who practice seiðr magic. She is said to weave the strands of fate throughout the universe. When warriors died on the battlefield, she and her valkyries would select those who would ascend to her hall Sessrúmnir in the afterlife. She is often associated with gold and amber and was a lover of all beautiful treasures. She also traveled through the sky by a chariot pulled by two cats.
